WEAR

wear:

the capacity for withstanding continuous use without damage.

Not every item we’ve acquired is unwanted because of damage. In an effort to offer alternatives to chain thrift stores that often make use of questionable labor practices and are responsible for the vast majority of overseas landfilling, History Repeats offers a curated shop of donated, lightly-used items.

In our shop you can find ready-to-wear clothing items as well as fabrics and textiles for crafting and sewing. We personally inspect every piece in order to assess any need for mending or repair before they are available for purchase. At History Repeats, we practice an 80-over-80 approach for our merchandise. That means 80% of the items offered contain at least 80% natural or sustainable materials. The reamining 20% is largely made up of vintage textile yardage and upcycled yarn.
